Life is a cycle

and I hate riding bikes. I am so out of shape.

But its kinda true. Less than a year ago I left a full time position as a Concept Artist to venture out into the world of videya game concepting. I learned its a completely different beast. Had some fun. Relaxed a little. Had some stress. Had some disappointments. In that time, I came to realize just how much I missed working with the Iron Kingdoms IP. And a lot of the people there. Good folks.

As fate would have it, Privateer's Illustration and Concept Art Director (and all around nice guy) Kris Aubin had decided to move home to Canada (explains why he is nice) and they were looking for someone to fill the position. After some careful thought, I threw my hat into the ring and got offered the job. It was great to get the job, but I will miss Kris. He's leaving some big shoes to fill. I wish him the best of luck.

So here I am, back full time with Privateer Press. Ready to learn a new skill set as an Art Director and see what my own knowledge can bring to it. It feels good to be back.
