"House Shyeel has brought the power of its formidable myrmidons to the Retribution, fighting machines enhanced by sophisticated arcanika systems. The Manticore is equally as formidable in melee or at range, thanks to kinetically augmented attacks and its Cyclone Cannon."

Done for No Quarter Magazine Issue 25's Guts 'N Gears article.

The one in the magazine was altered a bit, but here's the original (and one I prefer). This was a blast to do. The interior mechanisms of the Myrmidon's "musculature" was inspired by mechanical typewriters. The idea is that the struts are constantly interlocking and folding to create movement.

I noticed the kinda rib-like understructure on the models, and it's really cool seeing the exploded view. I don't care what anyone else says, these 'jacks are awesome.

The typewriter idea is excellent. I'm sure coming up with the conceptual phase of the RoS took quite a bit of time. You are really shining with all these... especially this piece.

Well, I thought it would give people the chance to make rude and condescending remarks for no reason. Turns out, that it seems to work really well.
