Kommander Viktor Strakhov by cwalton73 Kommander Viktor Strakhov by cwalton73
"Few soldiers are as hated and feared by the Motherland’s enemies as Kommander Viktor Strakhov. Strakhov takes pride in the fact that he has never refused a mission, no matter how dangerous. Although he prefers to rely on his physical superiority, his potent arcane abilities have been refined to aid him in the shock assaults in which he excels. Strakhov and his ‘jacks launch brutal strikes against enemy positions, slaughtering the enemy before they can react. With each engagement, Strakhov changes the face of warfare in the Iron Kingdoms to match his vision of bloody excellence."

Fun on the bun!

This guy is one of my favourite Khador Warcasters!
It says MK2 on the sketch, what did the first one look like?

The reckless abandon that these concepts show in their outrageous weapons and outfits is totally awesome, enough to actually make Warhammer 40k look tame.

Hats off to you, good sir!

Possibly the coolest tech caster in all of WM; this was a really nicely designed character. Did they ever tell you how the heck Khador managed to manufacture an automatic shotgun?

Can't wait to see the sculpts for that!

However, why would someone need a revolver clip and gatling barrels? (or is it an ammo drum?)

Each shot overheats the gun?

Dude, that is AWESOME! The trench knife looks positively predatory! Great design, and am totally corrected on the whole Cinder Bombs not = Grenades thing, I see a scorched earth tactics in his future! ;)

No worries. I just think its funny that people get hung up on the grenades being too "techy" when the guy is armed with a rotary barreled drum chambered shotgun. :)

Ok I've just started to notice something. Do you design the backside as well or do you leave it to the modeler?

Hmmm...I like the weapon ideas, but the armor and such just seem a bit too busy. Ya know? Small details are always good, but that just seems a bit much.

Nice work. I like the crossover button things on the gauntlets.

Another future model to wish I had time to paint.

How big are you working here, if you don't mind me asking?
